In 2005, I received the Crafts Council Development Award and a Keep & Share garment was acquired by the TED Materials Resource at Chelsea College of Art and Design. The following year, Keep & Share was listed as the no. 1 e-boutique in the Independent's '50 best'. In 2007 I received the overall Products & Genius prize at the BDI, Industry & Genius Awards (for the Gladys Cardi) and was selected for The Faculty of Royal Designers for Industry Summer School.
I was nominated for the Jerwood Contemporary Makers exhibition in 2009. In 2010 I received a BIAD Doctoral Award to fund my PhD; in 2012 I was commissioned by the Crafts Council to create a stitch-hacked piece for their Handling Collection, and received the Best Overall Exhibit award at the Made in the Middle exhibition.
I have also received funding from the Arts Council and Herefordshire Council, and a loan from the Prince's Trust.
From 2014, Keep & Share is featured as a case study in the Open University's Design and Innovation degree qualification (Q61). The case study is part of a third level module, 'Innovation: designing for change' (T317), and appears within Unit 2, 'Design-led Innovation', part of Block 2, 'Sustainable Innovation'.
